The picture shows a detail of the left wall of the chapela small separate place for worship, either part of a large church or a separate building.. The themes of Ferrari's frescoes disregard the original patron saint of the chapel. St Nicholas is found only under the window, where he is presented alongside St Catherine of Siena and two women from the Corradi family who face the altar of the chapel and pray piously.
